Services for Peggy Sue Rayburn were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Charter Oak Baptist Church in Hickory, La. Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home of Pearl River, La.

Mrs. Rayburn died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.

Born in Washington Parish, La., Mrs. Rayburn had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 40 years.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jay Rayburn and Christopher Rayburn; two siblings, Robbie Murphy and Connie Murphy; and her father, Shawnee Murphy.

She is survived by one son, Billy Rayburn of Vicksburg; one daughter, Sonya Brown of Vicksburg; her mother, Aline Murphy of Talisheek, La.; a sister, Sandy Faye Norman of Talisheek; and six grandchildren.
