EDWARDS — Services for Walter Ragans will be at noon Saturday at United Baptist Church in Edwards with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Bovina. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 today at Robbins Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Ragans died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at his home in Edwards. He was 50.

He served in the Army.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Dubb Ragans; two stepchildren, Lacrystal Jackson and Charlotte Carter, both of Vicksburg; one sister, Geneva Wilson of Vicksburg; one brother, John Willie Ragans of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
