Rodney and Cheri Howell of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Lynn, to Brody Britton Henley. Mr. Henley is the son of Brenda Britton of Delta and Michael and Brenda Henley of Tallulah.

Miss Howell is the granddaughter of Faye Cowart and the late Archie Cowart of Vicksburg and Betty Howell and George Wilson and the late Durell Howell, all of Cleveland.

Mr. Henley is the grandson of the late Wilasten and Hibo Britton of McGehee, Ark.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She is a full-time student at Hinds Community College in Vicksburg.

The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Tallulah High School. He is a journeyman plumber/pipefitter with Union Local 619.

Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. June 20, 2009, at First Christian Church. A reception will follow at the Vicksburg Convention Center.
