Always … Patsy Cline

Published 12:00 am Saturday, May 9, 2009

Brighton Goode, left, as country music legend Patsy Cline, sings during a rehearsal of “Always….Patsy Cline.” The play — created by Ted Swindley and based on interviews by Vicksburg native Ellis Nassour for his book, “Honky Tonk Angel: The Intimate Story of Patsy Cline” — tells of Cline’s friendship with Louise Seger, a Houston housewife she met and befriended while on tour. Performances will run Friday-May 17 and May 22-24 at Parkside Playhouse. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for ages 55 and older, $7 for students and $5 for ages 12 and younger.
