MEDINA, Ohio — Georgia Lucille Brague, 90, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Oct. 2, 1918, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Allen and Maude Barrett and lived in Mansfield most of her life before moving to Venice, Fla., in 1980. She moved to Medina in 1994.
Mrs. Brague graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1936. She worked as the bookkeeper for the family-owned Fox Hardware and later for Lumberman’s Mutual Insurance Company in Mansfield, Ohio, until her retirement in 1980. She was a past member of Ontario United Methodist Church in Ontario, Ohio, and current member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Medina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldred Kenneth Brague, and her sister, Eleanora Kremer of Naples, Fla., formally of Vicksburg.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and David Jordan of Medina; Sharon Lee Hanks of Vicksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Maureen Brague of North Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren Robin (Kim) Wittmer of Lexington, Ohio; Michael Jordan of Cheshire, Conn.; Debbie Hart of Mason, Ohio; Tammy (Nic) Weber of Cape Coral, Fla.; Steven (Laura) Brague of Laurel, Md.; Christopher Brague of San Francisco; Tracey (Jim) Dantin of Baton Rouge; Lori (Lester) Tzotzolas and Harvey H. (Woody) Hanks Jr., of Vicksburg; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the First Christian Church, 4797 Sharon-Copley Road, Medina, Ohio, at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2009, with her son-in-law, David Jordan, presiding. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, Ohio, on Sunday, May 17, 2009, and one hour before the service at the First Christian Church.
