Brownell, Friley wed April 28 in Louisiana

Adam Leon Brownell and Varissa Ann Friley were married at 5 p.m. April 28, 2009, at Westside Baptist Church in Ferriday, La. The Rev. Randy Coleman officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond Friley Jr. of Pearl and Pamela Leggett of Bolton. She is the granddaughter of Raymond Sr. and Mary Friley of Vicksburg and Larry and Sharon Childs of Corpus Christie, Texas.
The groom is the son of Billy and Cassandra Brixie of Vidalia, La., and Jerry Brownell of Natchez.
The bride was given in marriage by Kenny Staggs and Raymond and Mary Friley. Her chosen color was pink.
Maid of honor was Wendy Friley Staggs of Vicksburg. J.J. Brixie of Vidalia served as best man.
Flower girl was Kayleigh Nevels, daughter of the bride, of Vicksburg.
A reception followed at the church.
Hostesses were Cassandra Brixie, Samantha Brownell and the ladies of the church.
The couple will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed at Aaron’s, and the groom is in the U.S. Army.
