Meeting Monday, members of the Warren County Port Commission:

• Approved a design by ABMB Engineers Inc. on the eventual replacement of the 15-ton overhead crane at the port.

Essentially, it moves $340,000 in engineering plans to the project from previous grant funds from the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Estimates on a new crane and housing structure have been pegged at $12 million.

• Heard a report from Wayne Mansfield, port director, that the updated Web site for the Vicksburg Warren Economic Development Foundation received about 200 hits in its opening weeks since a contract Web designer wrapped up major work last month. The site has updated information on industrial facilities available countywide, as well as demographic information.
