Stirgus fired at VHA

A week after stepping aside on a doctor’s orders, 21-year Vicksburg Housing Authority Executive Director Jim Stirgus Sr. was fired by the authority’s board of commissioners during a closed meeting Tuesday, chairman Jay Kilroy confirmed today.
