ROLLING FORK — Arthur Mae Johnson died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at her home. She was 75.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She was on the mother board of Shiloh M.B. Church, a member of Mississippi Baptist Convention as a missionary and a former usher at St. Michael Church for 60 years.
Survivors include 10 sons, Eddie Tucker of California, Archie Tucker, Eugene Williams and Willie Earl Williams, all of Rolling Fork, Ernest Lee Johnson of Biloxi, Jack Johnson of Leland, Bill Johnson, Larry Johnson and Edward Johnson, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Jerry Johnson of Norfolk, Va.; six daughters, Alice Johnson Myles of Nashville, Barbara Ann Johnson Meeks of Madison, Janie M. Bland of Chicago, Dorothy Dean Stevenson of Greenville and Sarah Carter and Mary Helen Johnson, both of Kansas City; and 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Lula M.B. Church in Rolling Fork with the Rev. J.B. Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Danover Cemetery in Egremont.
