Craig Allen Alberts died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 55.

Mr. Alberts had been a resident of Vicksburg for four years. He was born in Millersburg, Ohio, and had lived in Orrville, Ohio. He owned and operated automobile dealerships in Orville and Rittman, Ohio, for a number of years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Alberts was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Alberts.

He is survived by two daughters, Angela F. West of Maumelle, Ark., and Julia A. Ford of Vicksburg; a son, Joshua Craig Alberts of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; his mother, Carol Ann Alberts of Berlin, Ohio; two sisters, Elaine Rennie of Glenmont, Ohio, and Brenda Austin of Washington, D.C.; and a brother, Gary Alberts of Sugarcreek, Ohio.

Services, under the direction of Riles Funeral Home, will be at 2 p.m. today at Wesley United Methodist Church. Dr. John Robert Ford will officiate.
