Willie Lee Lynn died Friday, May 22, 2009, at his home. He was 56.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Sarah Williams Lynn; a son, Dewayne E. Palmer; a brother, George Brown; and a sister, Creather Winger.

Survivors include his wife, Millard Ruth Cosby of Vicksburg; a son, Halbert Cosby of Vicksburg; five sisters, Wylisa Lynn of Waterloo, Tenn., Constance McCoy, Paula Williams and Angela Palmer, all of Vicksburg, and Hope Williams of Atlanta; two brothers, James Lynn and Anderson Lynn, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Carrie Smith and Lee Esther Rounds, both of Vicksburg, and Vivian Washington of Saginaw, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
