The e-Post can be reached by clicking on the front-page icon on the newspaper’s Web site — www.vicksburgpost.com — which will continue to be free, providing selected stories and breaking news and serving as the gateway to the new addition of the e-Post.

The Web site offers selected local news, Post photos for sale, classified and banner ads and opportunities to communicate with the newspaper or comment on stories.

The e-Post is the complete edition, page-by-page, in an easy-to-read full newspaper format.

In addition to the ability to view every page of the newspaper by “flipping” pages electronically, the e-Post will offer videos, both advertising and news, and there are instant links. For instance, a reader who sees an item of interest in the classified ads may click on the seller’s e-mail address in the ad and communicate instantly with the seller. An advertiser, such as a car dealership or real estate agent, may have a connection to a full product line or additional photos or videos.

The e-Post is suited for students living away from Vicksburg, for business, vacation and weekend travelers to stay connected to the hometown news and those who wish to have the option of a more interactive newspaper, with or without the printed version.
