MAYERSVILLE — Mildred Trass died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 66.

Mrs. Trass was a Mayersville resident. She retired as a teacher, having served 28 years.

She is survived by a brother, Roosevelt Trass of Hutchinson, Kan.; and two sisters, Edie Williams of Mayersville and Gloria Thomas of Compton, Calif.

Services will be at noon Sunday at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Mayersville with Pastor W.C. Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.
