ROLLING FORK — Rosie Mae Powell Knight died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at her home in Rolling Fork. She was 66.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband, John Knight Sr.; four daughters, Ronnie Knight of Anguilla and Barbara Cooper, Yulanda Knight and Veronica Gibson, all of Rolling Fork; six sons, Kenneth Knight Sr. of Hollandale, John Knight Jr. of Delta City, Quinton Knight of Rolling Fork, Roderick Knight of Memphis, Larry Knight of Chicago and Rickey Knight Sr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Maggie Mae Andrews of Rolling Fork and Anna Brown of Aurora, Ill.; one brother, Joenathan Powell of Aurora; and 42 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Mount Ollie M.B. Church in Egremont. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. Saturday until the service.
