Former Warren Central kicker Eric Richards has left the Mississippi State football program, but will remain at school on a medical scholarship, according to a story in the Jackson Clarion-Ledger. Richards was sidelined by a chronic hip condition. He redshirted in his freshman season after a foot injury and played sparingly this season.
