Services for Alice L. McRaven will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Rock of Ages M.B. Church with Dr. Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. McRaven died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Covenant Health & Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 68.

She worked as a surgical technician at Kuhn Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1996 from Vicksburg Medical Center after 30 years of service. She was affiliated with Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home as a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Sinclair McRavin Sr. and Viola Boatman McRavin; and a brother, Willie McRavin Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Chilindia D. McRaven of Houston, Texas; three sons, Larry McRaven of Jackson, Tony McRaven of Biloxi and Kevin McRaven of Honolulu; two sisters, Addie McRavin of Vicksburg and Martha McRavin-Oliver of Jackson; four grandchildren; an aunt; and a niece, a nephew and other relatives.
