Five sentenced in circuit court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• David M. Dorrell, 32, 4718 U.S. 80, pleaded guilty to possession of precursor substances and was sentenced by Judge James Chaney to five years in prison followed by three years of probation, plus fines of $1,622.50. Dorrell was arrested May 29, 2007.
• Roderick Finley, 44, street address unavailable, Brookhaven, was found guilty of violating probation and was sentenced by Judge Isadore Patrick to the Hinds County Restitution Center to pay all past due fines and assessments plus $695 in supervision fees and a $620 reimbursement assessment to Warren County for 31 days of housing. Finley was arrested in 2004 for burglary of a dwelling.
• Christopher Wayne Fontenot, 28, 1513 B S. Fourth St., Monroe, La., pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident June 4, 2007, and was sentenced by Chaney to one year plus one day in prison followed by three years of probation, plus $1,822.50 in fines. Fontenot was taken into custody in the Warren County Jail June 5.
• Carmen Deann Jilbert, 23, 664 Oak Ridge Road, pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of cocaine and was sentenced by Patrick to five years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus $645 in fines. Jilbert was arrested Jan. 11, 2008, and May 8, 2008.
• Darren A. Mazie, 24, 213 Moonmist Drive, was found guilty of violating probation and was sentenced by Patrick to 142 days in prison followed by 11 years and 223 days of probation, plus $1,225 in fines and restitution. Mazie was arrested May 12, 2005, for arson, burglary of a business and malicious mischief.
• Heather Holifield Smith, 39, 2419 Drummond St., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced by Chaney to enroll in the Drug Court Program for a period not to exceed five years, plus fines of $1,822.50. Smith was arrested Dec. 19.
