Blanchard to wed Beasley

The engagement of Catherine Elizabeth Blanchard to Michael Patrick Beasley, both of Madison, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. June 27, 2009, at St. Mary’s Basilica in Natchez. A reception will follow at the Eola Hotel. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Blanchard is the daughter of Brenda McBee Blanchard of Jackson and Michael E. Blanchard of Hattiesburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. McBee of Vicksburg and Mrs. Eugene Blanchard of Lima, Ohio, and the late Mr. Blanchard.
Mr. Beasley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Beasley of Ridgeland. He is the grandson of Lavada Powell of Leesville, La., the late J.L. Myers of Pearl and Betty Beasley and Richard N. Beasley Sr. of Jackson.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Cathedral High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in history education from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Miss Blanchard is a teacher at Northwest Rankin High School.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Cathedral High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana State University.
Mr. Beasley is an internal auditor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Mississippi.
