Dozier, Miss Zingery are wed in Natchez

Robert Hugh Dozier and Dawn Michelle Zingery were married at 10:30 a.m. April 11, 2009, on the lawn of Weymouth Hall in Natchez overlooking the Mississippi River. The Rev. Steven Speed Bryant Sr. officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lane Zingery of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sennette Stuckey of Vicksburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Zingery of Kent, Ohio.
The groom is the son of Margaret Sue Dozier of Learned and Robert C. Dozier Jr. of New Orleans. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Watts of Tallulah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Dozier Sr. of Oak Grove, La.
Music for the ceremony was presented by the Vicksburg String Trio. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Katie Lauren Wasson, cousin of the bride, of Houston, Texas. Michael Ray Martin of Monroe, La., served as best man.
Ring bearer was Richard William Hunt III of Vicksburg.
Ushers were Sterling David Forbes of Baton Rouge, Zachariah Lord Wasson II of Houston and Ryan Scott Zingery of Lexington, S.C.
Special wedding assistant was Kristen King of Jackson.
A Southern-style reception followed on the porches of the historic home.
The couple will make their home in Ridgeland, where the bride is a pharmacist at Brandon Discount Drugs and the groom is executive director of the Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association.
Celebration
On the eve of the wedding, a Louisiana-style celebration was held for all guests at dusk and featured Cajun fare along with music by Steve Bing and the Bayou Hot Shots, a Zydeco band.
