Hartley, Westcott are married on May 23

Russell Allen Hartley Jr. and Malana Denae Westcott were married at 5 p.m. May 23, 2009, at Bradley’s Chapel. Ernie Hall officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Elvin and Pat Westcott of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late John “Red” and Mildred Westcott, the late Blanche Smith and Larry Arcement of St. Bernard, La.

The groom is the son of the late Russell Allen Hartley Sr. and Darren and Kimbrell McKnight of Summit. He is the grandson of the late Henry “Buck” and Mary Ann Carroll, the late Don Hartley, the late James Ashmore and the late Betty Bruce.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were turquoise and yellow.

Matron of honor was Anna Westcott of Vicksburg. Darren McKnight of Summit served as best man.

Flower girl was Kayden Westcott of Vicksburg. Ring bearer was Nicolas Westcott of Vicksburg.

Ushers were Zane Hartley and Michael Blake Hartley, both of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at the home of the bride’s brother.

The couple will make their home in Vicksburg. The groom is employed at Evers & Whatley Electric.
