James Edward Seymour

James “Jim” Edward Seymour died Friday, June 26, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 77.

Mr. Seymour served in the armed forces during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Leo Robert Seymour.

His is survived by a brother and six sisters, Sid and Liz Seymour of Baton Rouge, Laura Opperman of Gonzales, La., Sister Marie Annette Seymour, RSM, of St. Louis, Linda and Steve Foster of Roanoke, Va., Connie and Pete Robert of Huntsville, Ala., Janice and Buddy Hess of Picayune, and Luky-Seymour and Gene Law of Aspen, Colo.; as well as 25 nieces and nephews and 52 great- and great-great nieces and nephews.

Services, led by Fisher Funeral Home, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, with visitation from 10 to 11.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
