An Itta Bena man was in the Warren County Jail this morning for violating his probation.

Damean Patterson, 32, 101 Ruby Lane, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Monday and held without bond, jail records said.

Wreck on Cain Ridge injures county woman

A one-car wreck on Cain Ridge Road Monday morning sent a Vicksburg woman to the hospital.

Carla Johnson, 40, 205 High Hill Drive, was taken to River Region Medical Center for her injuries after her vehicle left the road, striking a mailbox and then a tree, said Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department.

Stewart said a medical condition was the cause of the wreck.

River Region did not return a call for a condition report.
