Woman injured in wreck on Culkin Road

A Vicksburg woman was taken to River Region Medical Center after her car struck a utility pole on Culkin Road off of U.S. 61, just blocks from the hospital Thursday night at 10:25.
The 1998 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Mary Libbey, 61, 2501 Culkin Road, hit the pole after she lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason.
A phone call to River Region was not returned.
Chips, trailer missing from businesses
Two Vicksburg businesses reported thefts Thursday.
Four cases of Doritos chips were reported missing from a delivery truck at Frito-Lay warehouse at 75 Centrex Drive.
Valued at $160, the chips were reported missing at 5:46 p.m., said Vicksburg Police Sgt. Douglas King.
A 16-by-7-foot utility trailer and a tandem axel, a total value of $1,800, were reported missing from Magnolia Marine Transport at 697 Haining Road.
Last seen Tuesday, the items were reported missing at noon, said King.
In other thefts Thursday:
• About $120 in change was reported missing from a house in the 900 block of National Street at 10:55 a.m.
• A Sony radio valued at $400 and a 14-inch TV valued at $300 were reported missing this morning at 2:29, from a 1982 Oldsmobile at Wal-Mart SuperCenter, 2150 Iowa Blvd.
• A .22-caliber Remington rifle and a knife were reported missing from a house in the 2700 block of Halls Ferry Road this morning at 12:26.
