RICHTON — John Harold “He He” Moon died Friday, July 3, 2009, at his home in Richton. He was 80.

Mr. Moon was a road construction contractor and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Benndale.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Moon.

He is survived by a son, John R. “Bob” Moon of Richton; a daughter, Donna M. Shipley of Richton; three brothers, Howard Moon of Laurel and Perry Edwards and Joseph “Buddy” Edwards, both of Fort Smith, Ark.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Antioch United Methodist Church with the Revs. M.L. McCormick and Jimmy Geiger officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jones & Son Funeral Home of Richton. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Friday at the home of Bob Moon, 91479 Highway 42 in Richton.
