Snow cones will be given out by United Way of West Central Mississippi staff members and volunteers today and Friday as part of the organization’s Thanking Vicksburg campaign.

“We’re just finding creative ways to thank people,” executive director Barbara Tolliver said.

The distribution will be in front of Wal-Mart SuperCenter on Iowa Boulevard from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. today and Friday.

“We have fun, get to see a lot of people and it helps to tell our story to those individuals that we miss during the months when we are campaigning.”
