BAY ST. LOUIS — Joseph Benjamin Tiffany III, died Thursday, July 16, 2009. He was 64.

Mr. Tiffany was a graduate of H.V. Cooper High School and Millsaps College. He studied linguistics at the University of Texas and trained as a paratrooper in the National Guard.

He is survived by a son, Jason Schattman; sister, Susan Coker of Lilburn, Ga.; three granddaughters; and nephews and nieces.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Burial will be at 2:30 at the Biloxi National Military Cemetery.
