Russell and Linda Shiers of Richmond, La., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Daniel Driver. Mr. Driver is the son of Phillip and Paula Driver of Transylvania, La.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 8, 2009, at Gaston’s Resort in Bull Shoals, Ark. A reception will follow at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center overlooking Bull Shoals Lake and Dam.

The couple will make their home in Mountain Home, Ark., where both are employed and attend Arkansas State University.
