Lynn Morgan Stump

DUNWOODY, Ga.  — Lynn Morgan Stump died Thursday, July 23, 2009. She was 71.

Mrs. Stump, formerly of Vicksburg, was a member of Northside Independent Methodist Church and the Sunshine Sunday school class. She was retired from the U.S. Forest Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul David Morgan and Thelma Myers Morgan.

Survivors include her husband, Orville Menees “OM” Stump of Dunwoody; two sons, Trey Thomas and Tom Stump, both of Atlanta; five daughters, Terri O’Barr of Hartwell, Ga., Joanna Mulacek, Dianne Swilling, Jody Stump and Cindy Davenport, all of Atlanta; a sister, Paula Grau of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were Saturday at the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Ga., with the Rev. Joe Kontyko officiating. Burial followed at Barnes Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Stump, Craig O’Barr, Steve Davenport, Charles Swilling, Zachary Swilling and Lynn Panter.

Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Cloyd and Eddie Panter.
