UTICA — JoAnne Nicholson Bond died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 69.

Mrs. Bond was a California native. She was associated with United Way of Pasadena, Calif., and served as a foster mother for a number of years. She was a member of Utica Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jerr Bond of Utica; one son, Tim Nicholson of Byram; two daughters, Jennifer Taylor of Utica and Diana Vance of Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Nita Augustine of Utica; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Utica Christian Church with the Rev. Brad Harzog officiating. Burial will follow at Cayuga Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.
