The Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge will host an information-exchange meeting on the 2009-2010 refuge hunting season.

The meeting will be open to the public to address questions, comments and concerns from 6 until 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Tensas River NWR Headquarters/Visitors Center, 2312 Quebec Road, near Tallulah off U.S. 80.

Topics of discussion will include: dates for all hunts on the refuge, areas open for public hunting, refuge management and hunting regulations.

Kelly Purkey, refuge manager, will make a presentation before discussion.
