Mississippi Highway Patrol Sgt. Jake Coffee investigates an accident at Mississippi 27 and U.S. 80 Monday. Kimberly Branch, 29, 1414 Green Hill Road, driving a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am, was turning south on Mississippi 27 from U.S. 80, when her car collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Edward Cliffton Moore Jr., 58, 420 Mosley Gap Road. Moore had been traveling east on U.S. 80. Passengers in the Pontiac were Bettie Craig, 52, Shanine Craig, 1, and a 2-year-old child who was not identified. All of the passengers live at 1414 Green Hill Road. The Warren County Sheriff’s Department and a Drug Court officer responded to the accident to help direct traffic.  Branch and Craig were both treated and released from River Region Medical Center, said a hospital spokesman. No information was available on the children.
