Miss Bass, Mr. Brown to marry in Jackson

Laura Rashaune Bass and Julius Brown, both of Jackson, will be married at 3 p.m. Aug. 15, 2009, at Society Ridge M.B. Church in Jackson. A reception will follow at the Lakeover Center in Jackson. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Bass is the daughter of Carl and Ranetta Bass of Jackson.
Mr. Brown is the son of Arthur and Christine Brown of Jackson.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Callaway High School, where she was a Hall of Fame inductee and a member of the Marching Band Flag Corps.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2007.
Miss Bass is employed at Comcast in Houston, Texas.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Murrah High School, where he was a member of the Mustang basketball team and was named Mr. Murrah.
He attended Tougaloo College and is attending Houston Baptist University.
Mr. Brown is employed with UPS in Houston.
The Rev. Robert Patton will officiate at the ceremony. The couple will make their home in Houston.
