TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Katherine “Kathy” Provo Guyton Marskell, formerly of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at her sister’s home in Tallahassee, Fla. She was 61.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford Provo and Myra Melton Provo; and her sister, Lora Provo.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Marskell of Valleyview, Alberta, Canada; two sons, William Chad Guyton of Holly Ridge, La., and Thomas “Tommy” Ray Guyton of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Elizabeth Shirley and Natalie Provo both of Tallahassee; one brother, John Provo of Gulf Breeze, Fla; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life ceremony and scattering of ashes will be in the spring.
