Services for Willie Ethel Johnson will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cool Springs M.B. Church with the Rev. Byron Maxwell officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the service.

Mrs. Johnson died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at her home. She was 73.

Mrs. Johnson had lived in Chicago, having worked for the Cook County Department of Human Services for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Frances Johnson; a brother, Leonard Johnson; and a sister, Annie Johnson Hayes.

Survivors include a brother, Frank Johnson of Vicksburg; two foster children, Gloria M. Reed and Alton Miles, both of Vicksburg; and other relatives, including Janice Winters, Margaret Johnson and members of the Williams, Jones, Hudson, Thomas and Waters families.
