Services for Pearl M. Lyons will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bypass Church of Christ with Brother Willie Nettle officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lyons died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 83.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lyons; her parents, Walter and T.Y. Mobley; one son, Otis Lyons; three daughters, Carrie L. Martin, Bertha Lyons and Francis Lyons; and two sisters, Fannie B. Mobley and Mary Coleman.

She is survived by eight sons, Jerry L. Lyons of Richmond, Calif., Jerry L. Lyons of Pascagoula and Robert Lee Lyons Mobley, Jim Lyons Jr., Herry Lyons, Walter Lyons, Earl Lyons and Johnny Lyons, all of Vicksburg; two daughters, Lucinda McDonald of Vicksburg and Millicent Major of Aurora, Ill.; and friends and other relatives, including her grandson and caretaker, Steve Lyons.
