Bobby W. Sanders died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 66.

Mr. Sanders lived in Port Gibson for 30 years and had been a Vicksburg resident for the past two years. He retired from LeTourneau and was a member of Bowmar Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Ruby Sanders; and a son, Hugh Sanders.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Sanders of Vicksburg; one daughter, Sheila M. Ettinger of Vicksburg; one son, Hugh Sanders of Vicksburg; two brothers, Brian Sanders and Jay Sanders, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Karen Sanders, Sharon Sanders and Angela Sanders, all of Vicksburg; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Kuhrman Cox and Leonard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 this morning until the service.

Pallbearers will be Bud Reed, Charles Hynum, Bill Jeffers, George Culley, James Brooks and Lamar Shelby.
