A Warren County sheriff’s deputy injured in a Tuesday night wreck has been released from the hospital.
Sheriff Martin Pace said Timothy Ware left River Region Medical Center around noon Friday. A hospital spokesman did not return calls Friday night.
Ware is home recovering from a broken collar bone, Pace said, and “seems to be doing OK.” It will be at least a couple of weeks before he returns to work, on light duty, the sheriff said.
Ware, 31, suffered a concussion and broken collar bone in the two-car wreck at Clay Street and North Frontage Road Tuesday night.
Deputies had been pursuing Douglas Walters, 21, 1414 First East St., who was accused of felony eluding and several misdemeanor charges, including domestic violence and resisting arrest Tuesday.
Walters remained in the Warren County Jail Friday evening.
