Members of the 1959 class of Rosa A. Temple High School are in Vicksburg this weekend for their 50-year reunion. In photos taken from their yearbook, The Memoria, class officers are, from left, Elijah Johnson, president; Horace “Buck” Irwin, vice president; Daisy “Dee-Dee” Bell, secretary; and Gloria Richards, assistant secretary. The class had 96 members.

Historic photos taken in and around Vicksburg are featured on Sundays in The Vicksburg Post. Many of the photos are from the J. Mack Moore Collection at the Old Court House Museum. Though not all photos were taken by Mr. Moore, they are part of the collection given to the museum by longtime Vicksburg Post managing editor Charles J. Faulk.
