About 100 customers of the Yokena-Jeff Davis Water District are being asked to boil drinking and cooking water until further notice.

Affected customers are south of Glass Road’s intersection with LeTourneau Road (including Thomas Road); residents of Cottonwood Drive and all those along Kirkland Road to its intersection with Cottonwood; and those north of 9220 U.S. 61 South to Bodies Drive as well as all of Bodies Drive.

A 6-inch line burst along Glass Road, causing a loss of pressure, a press release from the district said.
