Scholarships

• Ariel Ragan, a freshman at the University of Southern Mississippi, has received a $1,000 scholarship from the Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus. Ten recipients are selected based on letters of recommendation, a narrative biography and essay about his/her home county. Ariel is a 2009 graduate of Vicksburg High School.
