Jonquil Eddie Lee died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 9.

He was a third-grader at Dana Road Elementary School.

Survivors include his father, Donald W. Mayfield of Vicksburg; his mother, Vanesser Stewart of Dallas; his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Doris Lee of Vicksburg; his paternal grandparents, the Rev. Henry and Dorothy Mayfield of Vicksburg; five sisters, Autumn Lee and Keidriana Harrison, both of Dallas, Donyah Mayfield and Princess Moore, both of Vicksburg, and Donika Mayfield of Lake Charles, La.; three brothers, Dontae Mayfield of Macon, Ga., Donald W. Mayfield Jr. of Lake Charles and Dontell Mayfield of Jamaica; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
