Thomas Joseph Fletcher

TALLULAH — Thomas Joseph Fletcher, 48, of Tallulah, passed away at home Sept. 6, 2009.

Thomas was born April 25, 1961, in Fall River, Mass. He moved to St. Petersburg, Fla., in 1968 and later moved to Tallulah in 2007. He attended St. Petersburg Catholic High School.

Thomas was a welder by trade and worked at the ship yards in Tampa on U.S. Navy Ships. He was also in several business ventures with his brother, Charles Fletcher — Celtic Drilling, Celtic Underground and Celtic Directional.

Thomas was an avid gun collector and a dedicated family man. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond R. Fletcher Sr.; mother, Katherine M. Fletcher; brother, Raymond R. Fletcher Jr.; and nephew, C.J. Fletcher.

He will be missed by his loving wife, Shiela; son, Christopher; brother, Charles of Pinellas Park, Fla.; sister, Joanne and husband John Mosig of Burke, Va.; sister, Karen West of Tampa, Fla.; and his aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Memorial services officiated by Father Ferre D’Cruz will be Friday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Crothers-Glenwood Chapel.
