WINDCREST, Texas — Marian Swank Brooks died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, in Texas. She was 66.

Mrs. Brooks was a longtime resident of Windcrest, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Brooks; three daughters, Cynthia Price of Vicksburg, Susan Wells and Audrey Butler; one son, Patrick Butler; her mother, Janie Pickering; a sister, Carolyn Mikesh; two grandsons; and other relatives and friends, including Lisa Brooks.

Services were Tuesday in Shiner, Texas, under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio.
