Mr. and Mrs. James Harvey Melton of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Erin, to Warner Lee Wiles. Mr. Wiles is the son of Dennis Paul Wiles and Christina Bottino Wiles, both of Vicksburg, and the late Tina Warren Wiles of Memphis.

Miss Melton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ferguson and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Melton, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Wiles is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bottino of Vicksburg and Mary Wiles and the late Ray Wiles and Frances Pierce, all of Memphis.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Warren Central High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and hearing science from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Doctor of Audiology from the University of Memphis.

Miss Melton is an audiologist at Magnolia Speech School.

The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of St. Aloysius High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Wiles is a systems engineer at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station.

Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009, at Christ Episcopal Church. A reception will follow at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
