Missy Gators win two of three

Vicksburg won two of three slow-pitch softball games on Saturday, led by Lea Davies, who had two hits in the first game, three in the second and two in the third contest.
The first game was a 2-1 win over Northwest Rankin. Claire Ray, Blake Derossette and Tira Erwin had two hits apiece for the Missy Gators. Vicksburg won the second game 7-2 over Moss Point, led by two hits from Savannah Pritchett and Davies with three.
The Missy Gators dropped an 8-5 decision to Columbia. Paige Bowser and Chasity Butler joined Davies with two hits apiece.
