St. Andrews took both the girls’ and boys’ races at the River City Cross Country Invitational in Bovina on Saturday. Warren Central finished second in the girls race team standings and Vicksburg took third in the boys’ race.

In the girls’ race, WC’s Hanna Register took top honors with a time of 16:05.  In the boys’ race. Joseph Edwards of St. Frederick (La.) won the race on the three-mile course with a time of 16:49. Behind him was Walter King of Warren Central with a time of 17 minutes. The highest Vicksburg finishers were Chucky Hayden in sixth, Kyle Davidson in seventh and Caleb White in eighth.
