CARY — Services for James Henry Cubit Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Hope M.B. Church with the Rev. Roosevelt Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ellawood Cemetery in Rolling Fork under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Cubit died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. He was 65.

A resident of Cary, Mr. Cubit was a farmworker. He was a member of New Hope M.B. Church in Blanton and the Rolling Fork Jubilee Gospel Group.
