Dorothy Ward died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009. She was 38.

Ms. Ward was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Roosevelt Ward.

Survivors include her father, Robert Earl Flagg of Champaign, Ill.; her mother, Alice Hayes of Vicksburg; a son, Patrell Ward of Vicksburg; a daughter, Ingrid Jackson of Vicksburg; three brothers, Willie Ward of Killen, Texas, and James Ward and Lawerence Ward, both of Vicksburg; and three sisters, Irene Ward, Singrid Ward and Sanquinetta Ward, all of Vicksburg.
