Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Spears of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Dionne of Atlanta, to Reico Mitchel Carter, also of Atlanta. Mr. Carter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby M. Carter of Burkesville, Ky.

Miss Spears is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Green of Vicksburg.

Mr. Carter is the grandson of Olean Beauchamp of Glasgow, Ky.

The bride-elect is a 1994 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.

Miss Spears is a manager for Deloitte Consulting.

The prospective groom is a 1997 graduate of Cumberland County High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Carver Bible College.

Mr. Carter is assistant director at Cedine Bible Camp.

The wedding will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, at Druid Hills United Methodist Church in Atlanta. A reception will follow at The Carter Center.
