CLAIBORNE COUNTY — Nancy G. Ross died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at her home in Claiborne County. She was 66.
Mrs. Ross was a native of Jacksonville, Fla., the daughter of Millard and Martha Bryant Giles. She was a graduate of Englewood High School in Jacksonville and had attended the University of Southern Mississippi.
She had been a resident of Claiborne County since 1962. She was a retired medical secretary and a member of Midway Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Jack E. Ross Sr., of Claiborne County; two daughters, Pam Steen and Katherine Ross, both of Vicksburg; a son, Jack E. Ross Jr., of Utica; a sister, Annette Gallaher of Jacksonville; a brother, Louis M. Giles of Washington state; a granddaughter, Jessica Steen, of Vicksburg; and a great-granddaughter, Summer Crouse of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Riles Funeral Home with Donnie Cain, minister of Midway Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow at Ross Family Cemetery in Claiborne County. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Gallaher, Carl Flowers, Frank Dawson, Mike Brogdon, Billy Byrnes, Andy Fisher, Jon Ross and Albert Hossley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Bell, Trey Fulton, Don Williams and Harold Mobley.
